Synopsis
TAKE ON THIS is a bold investigation of the role of the terrorist, the terrorised, the spectator & the investigator, examining prejudice & racism.
Working with Swedish-Iranian director and engineer, Yaghoub Keshavarz, we plan to present a blended digital experience & live performance in our first play fusing physical theatre with Audio-Visuals.
The audience will have authorship via an app to choose who they suspect, as we ask them to interrogate their prejudice.

TAKE ON THIS is currently in development as part of Seemia's residencies with the Barbican Theatre's Open Lab 2022 and Norwich Theatre, with mentoring from Katie Mitchell and with generous support from the Romilly Walton Masters Award, Arcola Theatre, Collusion, Theatre Deli, and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
