Our Productions

Music, movement and our society are at the heart of our devised performances.

Seemia Theatre has always been dedicated to creating performances that connect its audience to society. We blend music, song-speech, poetic text and movement in a visceral way, immersing our audience into their sensations.

Follow Doaa, a 19 year old Syrian, on her journey of hope. Meet the boy from the local garden centre, where all isn’t quite as it seems. Experience the physical descent of a couple whose grief brings them together and tears them apart. Venture into the everyday of families in extreme conditions and follow the performers as they ask;

As a multinational group, diverse in age, gender, sexuality and religion, this has provoked a need to explore collective and individual identity. How do we define ourselves? How do others define us? And what happens when these two viewpoints are in conflict?
